Shama NGO in association with Jafrabad RWA, has organized many camps, Jan Jagran Abhiyan, Identity Card, Aadhar Card, Tenant Verification, Gas Connection, Electricity Connection, Water Connection, Income Certificate, OBC Certificate, Bank Account, House Tax in collaboration with Election Department, Aadhar Card Department, Delhi Jal Board, BSES Electricity Department, Disaster Management Authority, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi Police, Horticulture Department, Dengue- Malaria Department , Directorate of Education, Office of the District Magistrate, Food Supplies Department, etc.
Campaigns for public facilities with the participation of government administration, such as Aadhaar card camps, identity card camps, ration card camps, and hundreds of other camps organised by Shama NGO to make the above public facilities accessible to the general public by the departments of Delhi Government, Delhi Municipal Corporation, Delhi Police etc. Programs, seminars etc. were organized which benefitted more than 70,000 citizens.
BSES, Social Welfare Department, Jal Board, House Tax Department, Income and OBC Certificate etc. The camp was organized by Shama NGO in collaboration with Jafrabad RWA, with the help of BSES, Social Welfare Department, Jal Board, House Tax Department, Income and OBC Certificate etc., electricity, water, ration, and gas connection and many camps were organized in which more than 25000 citizens were benefited by providing information and facilities, it was also ensured that the above government facilities reach the common people directly and the public can avoid the loot of brokers, bribes.
Go to school campaign
Online registration was done in government schools by Shama NGO, in which common children and non-plan students were benefitted. Camps were organized for online registration and submission of forms for the scholarship given by the government to poor, minority, backward, and very backward students, in which more than 15000 students from weaker sections were benefitted. Thousands of people were benefitted through organizing camps, programs, meetings etc. under the Government’s ‘Aapke Aangan Abhiyan’ for minorities, labourers, and underprivileged people by organizing camps to get certificates like income certificates, OBC, birth certificates etc
Meeting with public representatives and officials regarding public problems In order to establish all the government schemes, programs etc. on the ground, that make life easier for the people, the team of Shama NGO has been running a campaign from time to time by giving memorandums or requests to different public representatives, officials, etc., under which the work of providing all public facilities like education, health, security etc. has been done.
We have also worked with Women, Child and Social Welfare Department, Women Commission, etc.
Our combined efforts benefitted thousands of common citizens, from laborers to women and children and slum dwellers.
