The Foundation of Shama Educational and Polytechnic Society was laid at a time when India was burning in the fire of 1992 riots, whose flames spread to Delhi as well, the Welcome area of North East Delhi was also not untouched by this, at the time of this harrowing event, there was a need to maintain peace among the people, just then, Mirza Shahid, founder of Shama NGO. Now, Shama Educational and Polytechnic Society has been working in the country for more than 25 years to provide better education, healthcare, women and child welfare, promote brotherhood, and connect unemployed youth with employment opportunities.
